LOUD

When Iggy Pop first mixed this album, he put most of the instruments on one stereo channel and the vocals on another. MainMan Management, who also handled David Bowie, told him that if he didn't let Bowie remix the tracks they would not release the album, so Pop agreed but insisted that his mix of "Search and Destroy" remain the same. Bowie remixed the other 7 tracks in one day at a Los Angeles studio. The rest is history.
